Back Pain Hopes
One of the casualties of Covid Work-From-Home is that I do not get as many steps as I should in a given day. This is why I have been trying to get to the pool more and, for the Little League Tournament Season, I signed up for as many umpiring shifts as I can. I figure anything that gets me out of the house and moving is a good thing. And, on the 187th day of 2021, I had back to back umpiring assignments and I made it through the first game and the first two innings of the second and then, my back started seizing up. OOF that hurt. I sat for an inning, took some painkillers and I got right back out there for the last innings of the game. And, on 7/6/2021, I have back pain hopes. I hope that I continue to move, and continue to lose my Covid weight and get back on my pre-Covid track. I hope that I can manage my back pain through the rest of the week's umpiring assignments, and I hope Dr. Smith, my chiropractor, recovers from his knee replacement and gets back into the office so I can see him soon. Hope to be back at it for an 8PM umpiring assignment tomorrow!
